At Artulio, we support local charities and empower under-resourced communities across the Bay Area by using the creativity of the youth to transform art into entrepreneurship and community involvement!
2020-2021 Project
In 2020-2021, as the pandemic hit, long lines flooded the local food banks in the Bay Area. Food insecurity quickly became one of the primary issues affecting our community during the pandemic.
I began to sell art pieces to raise money for Martha's Kitchen, a food bank located in San Jose, CA. Through Artulio, I sold over $1100 worth of handmade creations and donated 100% of the earnings to the local food bank. My work was highlighted on ABC7News Bay Area through their "Building a Better Bay Area" nightly segment.
