Interested in becoming an artist with Artulio?
Open to all ages, Color For Cause motivates kids to use their artistic passion and creativity for good.
How does it work?
At Artulio, we believe kids can create real change with their imagination.
This initiative invites young artists (ages 5+) to create themed artwork that supports real-world causes. We list their art on our platform, where customers can explore our gallery and purchase. Kids receive 30% of proceeds, and 70% goes to a charity aligned with the theme of their artwork.
Artulio's artists will follow a theme for each artwork they make. Possible themes are Food Insecurity, Animal Welfare, Environmental Protection, Human Resources, and more. The ideas are endless!
Why does it matter?
Kids learn real-world skills like entrepreneurship and pricing.
They explore social and environmental issues.
They experience the power of giving back.

Parent FAQ
What age group is this for?
While we encourage kids of 5 and older to join, any age is welcome. For younger artists, a parent would be recieving the payments and maintaining communication with the Artulio team.
Is there a cost to participate?
No! Color For Cause is completely free to join. The only cost would be the art supplies, but Artulio often holds art supply drives and the 30% profit should generally cover the cost for basic supplies.
What happens after someone buys my child's art?
We’ll notify you right away! The buyer receives a digital or physical version (based on what you’ve submitted), and proceeds are split — 30% goes to your child and 70% goes to the selected charity. You’ll also receive an update on how your child’s contribution helped the cause. Buyers will cover shipping costs and Artulio will provide you with the shipping label to send out the package. Canvas art will be handle-delivered by Artulio's team or distributed in-person at an event. Canvas art is not shipped.
Who selects the charities?
The charities are selected by the Artulio team, but kids will also have the opportunity to suggest their own themes and charities.
What safety/privacy measures are in place?
We prioritize the safety and privacy of every child involved. We do not share full names, photos, or personal information on the website without consent from the parent/guardian. Artwork is displayed with a first name or nickname only (e.g., “Art by Maya, Age 10”). All communication is handled through a parent or guardian’s contact information. Our platform is fully moderated, and all artwork submissions are reviewed before being published to ensure they meet our safety and content guidelines. All sales occur through email and PayPal, not through the website, ensuring maximum communication between all parties involved. We send each buyer a confirmation that 70% of their payment has been given to charity immediately after purchasing.
How is pricing decided?
Kids get to help set the price of their art, guided by simple tools and tips we provide. This helps them think like young entrepreneurs while keeping the experience fun and low-pressure. Our team will give final approval to ensure fair pricing and consistency.
What type of art is accepted?
While paper/posters are reccomended (they're easier to ship/deliver), canvases are also acceptable.
